being ignored after falling short
despite warnings of forging
ahead with up-to-the-minute reports
becoming unintentionally distorted
as elusive authors are read wrongly
to families suffering from loss
asking, “What will happen to the underdog?
Is it indicative of bone loss with less water
than drip coffee like withdrawal
from powerful crystal balls or forcibly
being weaned from mugs of caffeine?” ...
