left in violent limbo
after barring immigrants
and refusing to lift
crushing sanctions
prompting “fire and fury”
due to leader-to-leader
failing negotiating skills
told to be ready
by the commander-in-chief
for a threateningly vindictive
barrage of tweets
post impeachment
yet never really recovering
from instability
while flailing with steep
random demands
within crawdads’
atmospheric tales
seemingly feeding
bottomless demands
while watching and wailing
for spiking horror sales ...
