“Harsh Cameras”

by Suzán Jiván Mom
& Mom-Mom Suzán

Harsh cameras
pop sounds
canned aristocrats
rarely matching
strait-jacketed tales

over tangled
over parented
way-out-there
personal pronouns
as the here-and-the-now

never allowing
principle characters
along hidden-tracked
epochal albums

showing shiny bald patches
neither meat nor dairy
like rugged-class smarty pants
stalking pipe cleaner brands
along all-the-more grizzly paths

wisecracks on tap
wide-waled pants
flannel plaids
speaking rambling
ramshackle tavern slang

sirens blare
lights flash
off camera...
