part iconoclast part pop
cabaret dolls
harkening to a ball drop
with nonchalance
then warping towards
a tuneful stomp
having once made snarky remarks
while picking locks of the uncommon
lack-luster blockbuster New Year’s drama
being remade as a great grand opera
by taking The World to our arms ...
